Inge Christopher Bag

Found a great satin bag today!

This is an Inge Christopher Wristlet with delicate beading on the front. This bag is feminine and flirty! The color is fiery and perfect to brighten up the typical black cocktail dress! I love the quality of the metal hardware which makes the bag very east to open. I have seen Inge Christopher designs in several fashion magazines with great reviews.

I'm going to wear this once or twice then I'm going to pass it on to the next diva!

Anuschka Wallet

Found a great wallet today! This is a brand which I had to research, however, I am impressed with the hand painted leather! This wallet is soft and luxurious to the feel with great hardware. The artwork is strong, distinctive with vibrant color. I read that the artwork is painted in multiple layers giving it an amazing dimension of color.

What is so great is that early on, the company recruited young artists and trained them to create these wonderful bags giving them a model by which to develop business and entrepreneur skills. Today, these painters are able to utilize that they learned to make a good living and provide for their families. What a wonderful skill to have!

I searched for the exact pattern which is actually called "Paisley Bronze". Unfortunately, there are very few places to find this design! There are three currently on the market which are all very attractive.

Catch the sale online at Ebay!

Ok...stopped by another vintage shop and got a new brown suede clutch. This is a quality purse; heavy with a GREAT snap button on the inside to hold the clutch closed. I love this idea! Some clutches come open and that's NOT good!

Caribbean Soap

I can say that I had a great time while I was in Philly!

I purchased several items including Castile Soap. My Mom states that my Grandma used this soap to remove blemishes. I tried it this morning and I feel like it took away that oily feeling, however, I hope it did not take off too much of my natural oils!

Im going to try another round tomorrow and see what happens...

Blue Power Detergent Bar

A few months ago, my sister and I found "Liquid Blue" at Meijer store. I was shocked until I noticed a German woman on the bottle! At any rate, I used it on my white coat (and you know how dirty that can get!) and it worked like a charm. My coat was white again :)

While in Philly, I found a Caribbean BluePower bar. I was totally excited to try it! I used it on some clothing yesterday and...wow!! It does work Grandma!!! I reviewed their business online and found that their customer base is largely Caribbean people who remember their parents using it!

Im a believer...

New Hat

I received a new hat from a friend this week. As I get older (and have a real job!) replicas have become less of a big deal, but I like the color scheme and you know how much I love stripes!! This hat appears to be a mix between the men's 2010 baseball hat and the men's 2010 military cap with leather trimmings. The makers of these replica hats are becoming very creative!!

Here are my thoughts:
1. Tag is not made out of the material of the hat
2. Tag does not state "Made in Italy" - actually states "Made in China"
3. No serial number on the tag
4. Craftsmanship is appropriate for the likely price of the hat!!
5. The style is close, but not quite the same for either version above

I went on EBay to see how prices ranged for these hats. I found several, mostly between 30-40$. I saw several listed as "100% authentic" which is totally NOT true!!

I'm going to wear this once or twice then sell mine on EBay too. However, I'm going to try to list mine under Ladies hats. If you want me to pass this item onto you, check out the post listed under "Replica Monogram Military Style Hat"

Leave a post if you have more clues to how to identify replica hats!
